Thanksgiving. My favourite holiday. No gifts, no candy, no crazy commercial aspect (except that Black Friday part). The focus is on food, family and thanks. As a child, my family would get together: grandparents, parents, kids. Generations. As part of a Polish family, there was no shortage of food. The table was full - of food and people. Wonderful.
This Thanksgiving we have a set of grandparents with us. Generations. A time to eat together, share time together and give thanks for all we have. I hope all of you take time to give thanks for what you have in your lives. If you are alive, there is something for which you can give thanks.
