Timbers game, professional soccer, and a man comes to sit next to us dressed in a complete navy suit with vest, tie and pinstriped shirt, finished off with a fedora, dress shoes and a waxed, handlebar mustache. Turns out he (and the woman next to him) are ESL teachers and many of their students are in the stands too. The part I love: he just dresses like this all the time, regularly, as his normal attire. It would be considered completely odd in many areas and sure, it's a little different, but this is Portland, where this attire blends in pretty well.
Also, this is where you can find a coffee yogurt lounge... yes, you heard that correctly. Because after all, why not? This is Portland...
